Hi! I'm Ralphie the Wonder Bunny. Most of the time I look like your average incredibly good looking bunny hoppin' down the street. You know, the kind the girls go crazy over! They say " Ralphie you are soooo cute!" Or "Ralphie you are so soft and cuddly." or "Ralphie I just love those floppy ears of yours!" Despite being an object of adoration, I have the very important, top secret job of being Ralphie The Wonder Bunny! So, what does that mean you say? Well, when I'm not laying around snoozing or nibbling on a bit of hay or begging my mom for a treat, I'm out searching for my fellow kindred bunnies that have found themselves in perilous situations.
You're probably thinking, what kind of perilous situations can a cute bunny get themselves into? Well because of no fault of their own, sometimes their human mom and dad can't take care of them anymore. Us domestic bunnies are not like our cousins the wild bunny who you find living outside. Oh no! We like things a little more pampered! For instance, who wants to get dirty digging a hole five feet underground to keep cool and protected when there is air conditioning and clean houses?
Well, sometimes human parents abandon us outside thinking we can survive on our own. Not so! Especially with all the scary bad guys out there (like feral cats, raccoons, hawks, coyotes, dogs and even cars) a pet bunny just doesn't stand a chance! A lot of times, I rescue bunnies from places that can keep them safe for only a short time because there are too many bunnies already or because they are sick or old. When they are no longer welcomed there, they are what humans say "put to sleep."
As you can see, I work really hard to serve and protect my fellow bunny community. But I don't do it alone! Oh no! A guy needs his down time you know. So while I'm watching Saturday morning cartoons (The Chica Show is my favorite!), my mom (Cindy), aunt Michelle, grandma Betty and a bunch of cool human friends care for the bunnies I've rescued. They also work really hard to find them their perfect forever family.
As Ralphie already explained, we couldn't do what we do without the help of our big-hearted partners. We'd like to extend a special thanks to the following and encourage you to check them out for your own pet needs!
